On Halloween The Bureau of Land Management made the terrifying decision to approve the first two APDs for the Wayne National Forest. Eclipse Resources plans to drill two new wells on an existing well pad off of County Road 10 in Monroe County and drill horizontally underneath the Wayne National Forest.
Earlier the same week, the agency announced the parcels that were originally slated to be auctioned off in the canceled September auction will now be auctioned off on December 13th.
